If you have an exhibitionist streak or wish to get rid of tan lines, Haulover Beach has a welcome stretch of beach clothes optional. Haulover Park and Beach, located just north of Bal Harbour across a short causeway and inlet, is recognized for accommodating the LGBTQ community and covers roughly 1.5 miles tucked within the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Clothing is not required on the northernmost half-mile of Haulover Beach.
Aside from the turquoise water and white sandy beach, there are covered picnic areas; snack stands, beach chair rentals, and dunes. Because of the waves created by the inlet, this section of the beach is also popular with surfers. Haulover`s nudist beach welcomes individuals from all walks of life and can see up to 7,000 people on its dunes in a single day. Because it is just clothes optional, it is also suitable for anyone in your group who likes to remain in their swimwear.

For many, it`s a time to decompress with a fair expectation of solitude. Keep a close distance from your fellow naked sunbathers and be considerate of everyone`s comfort levels.
Respect your fellow sunbathers by not taking photographs, gawking, or doing anything that might make anybody feel uncomfortable. At a naked beach, a soft beach towel is much more critical. Please, use a towel between your body and any surface, whether you`re laying on the sand or sitting on a public seat. Lewd behavior of any kind, whether clothing-optional or not, is illegal on any of Miami`s beaches, and violators will be arrested.
